Who we are
Season Challenge is run by [YOUR NAME / BUSINESS NAME], Manchester, UK. Contact: [YOUR EMAIL]. We are the data controller for what you submit here.
What we collect
- Submissions: the season you are in, the season you are writing to, your message, the type of idea you chose (indoor, outdoor, self-care or faith and reflection), the optional "what I love" line, and your sharing choice. If you choose to be credited, your first name or handle.
- Community emails (only if you opt in): your name, email, your season, and a record of what you agreed to and when.
Please don't include surnames, addresses, phone numbers or other identifying details in your message. Your season (for example "married" or "single") can hint at personal circumstances, so we keep it minimal and never directly ask for health or similar details.
How we use it
- Submissions: to read them, and to share some publicly (for example on Instagram) in line with the choice you made. "Anonymous" means no name is attached. "Don't share it" means it is only counted.
- Emails: to send you what you ticked. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email.
Legal basis
Submissions: legitimate interests (running this project), and your consent for any public sharing with your name. Community emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
Our service providers only: Google (spreadsheet storage), Cloudflare (website hosting), [MailerLite or your email provider] (community emails). If you buy a deck, Etsy handles your order under its own privacy policy. Some of these process data outside the UK under standard safeguards. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Submissions are kept for as long as the project runs. Email details are kept until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete anything at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to withdraw consent, by emailing [YOUR EMAIL]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
